Zac Brown’s Sir Rosevelt Project Sets Release Date for Debut Album

A project that’s been percolating for the past year or so, Sir Rosevelt is a Southern dance-pop outfit trio consisting of Grammy Award-winning musician Zac Brown, Atlanta-based songwriter Niko Moon and Nashville-based producer Ben Simonetti. The trio’s self-titled debut album is now set for release on December 15th via Elektra Records.

Inspired by the full-throttle dynamics of electronic/dance music and the elasticity of contemporary pop, Sir Rosevelt also boasts acoustic instrumentation and a distinct Southern sensibility. The trio first came together as the Zac Brown Band began experimenting with new sounds and recording techniques on their fourth album, 2015’s Jekyll + Hyde.

The album’s release will be celebrated with a show on Dec. 29th at the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino in Las Vegas, marking the group’s first U.S. live date. Additional North American live dates will be announced soon for 2018.
