Zac Brown, whose culinary activities have expanded along with his music superstardom, is now getting into the whiskey business.
Brown is investing in Dahlonega Stillhouse Creek Distillery, which henceforth will be known as Z. Brown Distillery. Under the new name, the company will produce small-batch bourbon, brandy and gin with crops from local farms. Plans are for the facility to also be open to the public for tastings and tours.
It’s not Brown’s first foray into the world of alcoholic beverage making. In 2014, the musician launched his own line of wines, Z Alexander Brown Uncaged Wines. And though they weren’t involved in the brewing of it, the Zac Brown Band was featured on a series of limited-edition, specially-designed beer cans from Anheuser-Busch’s Landshark Lager brand in 2013.
