Zac Brown Band Announce May 12 Release for “Most Personal” LP

The Zac Brown Band have announced a May 12th release date for their new album, Welcome Home. It will be the Atlanta group’s first release on Elektra Records, following their sole album, Jekyll + Hyde, on menswear designer John Varvatos’ fledgling label.

Recorded by former Atlantan/now hot Nashville producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, etc.) at Brown’s Southern Ground Nashville studio, Welcome Home is what the band calls not only a return to their roots, but also a return to The Foundation, the band’s debut album that is now certified 5X platinum.

“This is the most personal album we’ve ever done,” Brown says of Welcome Home’s themes of reflection, “and we’re very proud of it.”

The group will kick off their tour supporting the album with two nights at Alpharetta’s Verizon Amphitheatre on May 12 and 13.
