Young Country Singer Kane Brown Releases Major Label Debut EP

Budding country singer Kane Brown, a 22-year-old Georgia native, has released his five-song major label debut EP, Chapter 1.

The EP includes the previously released digital singles “Used to Love You Sober” (which sold 38,000 downloaded copies in just two days and reached number 15 on Billboard’s Country Singles chart) and “Last Minute Last Night.” Kane also self-released a crowd-funded EP called Closer last spring, which debuted at number 22 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, reaching a peak of number 7, and making it to number 40 on Billboard’s all-inclusive Top 200 albums chart.

After winning a high school talent contest in the 11th grade, Kane started gaining notoriety by posting well-received YouTube videos of himself singing covers of hit songs by Billy Currington, Alan Jackson, Lee Brice and George Strait. The rising star is currently in the midst of a 35-date headlining tour, after which he is set to join Cole Swindell and Cadillac Three as openers for Florida Georgia Line’s summer tour.
