The Whiskey Gentry’s Lauren Morrow Releases Solo Ep

Lauren Morrow, vocalist for the Atlanta-based Americana group The Whiskey Gentry, relocated to Nashville last year with her husband, Whiskey Gentry guitarist Jason Morrow. And now she’s released her self-titled debut EP.

The four-song affair features co-producer Jason on guitar, along with some of Nashville’s finest players: drummer Jerry Pentecost (Amanda Shires, Ron Pope, Angaleena Presley), pedal steel player Whit Wright (Chris Stamey, American Aquarium), bassist Ted Pecchio (Bruce Hampton & the Codetalkers, Doyle Bramhall II), guitarist Adam Meisterhans (Coco Hames) and former Deer Tick member Robbie Crowell on keyboards.
