The Barreracudas Release Second Album of Punchy Power-Pop

Atlanta-based quintet The Barreracudas, who deftly juggle a host of power-pop, punk and classic rock influences, have released their second LP, Can Do Easy (Oops Baby Records).

The group specializes in goofy but heartfelt two-to-three-minute jabby jolts concerning love, infatuation and (mostly) frustration. Led by vocalist and all-around wiseguy Adrian Barrera, their style takes cues from forebears including Cheap Trick, Flamin’ Groovies, The Cars and Sweet.

With several of its members currently living outside Georgia, they’ve yet to be able play a local release show for Can Do Easy, but that will be remedied Oct. 14th when they headline East Atlanta Village romper room 529.
