The vinyl-only label Omerta Inc. – whose vinyl editions of Peewee Longway’s collaboration with Cassius Jay, Longway Sinatra, and Gucci Mane’s mind-meld with Zaytoven, Mama’s Basement, are just out in stores – has added another vinyl release for an Atlanta rapper.
This time, T.I.’s 2001 debut album I’m Serious has received the Omerta treatment. First made available on Record Store Day (April 22nd), and pressed on vinyl for the first time since its original release, I’m Serious comes on red and white colored vinyl, housed in a high quality matte finish sleeve with original artwork and insert. This remastered edition is limited to 500 copies, all individually hand numbered in gold pen.
Perhaps Tip will perform a few tracks from I’m Serious at his upcoming hometown show at the new Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre – in The Battery Atlanta, adjacent to SunTrust Park – on Sunday, June 18th.
