What began as a modest one-day music-and-beer street fiesta in 2004, the Sweetwater 420 Fest quickly and steadily expanded into one of Atlanta’s most highly attended local music-centric festivals. After relocating from Candler Park to downtown Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park in 2014, the lineups and the attendance have grown even more.
Now the folks at Sweetwater Brewing Company have announced the headliners for their 2018 festival, to be held April 20 through 22. The big acts for the jam-friendly event will include Umphrey’s McGee, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sturgill Simpson and Vulfpeck.
Other announced acts include Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Papadosio, Anders Osborne, Stick Figure, The Record Company, Spafford, Southern Avenue and Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds, with many more to be announced between now and April. For tickets and more information, check sweetwater420fest.com.
