Multi-platinum selling country-pop duo Sugarland went on an open-ended hiatus in September 2012, during which time both members released solo albums and vocalist Jennifer Nettles gave birth to a son. Since their return to active duty last year (including a surprise appearance on last November’s CMA Awards) they’ve been diligently working on their sixth album and first since 2010. Now completed, they’ve announced that the long-awaited Bigger will be in stores beginning June 8th. The first single, “Still the Same,” is out now.
Planning for a busy year, they’ve also scheduled a slew of tour dates, which will bring them through their native state twice: May 25th at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, and August 3rd at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, just northeast of Atlanta.
