Sounds of the South To Rock Milledgeville, Benefit Redevelopment

The Sounds of the South Music Festival will rattle downtown Milledgeville April 8th and 9th with a mix of indie, funk, acoustic, roots and more.

Now in its fifth year, the two-night celebration of music is entirely student-run, with proceeds benefitting the Central State Hospital Redevelopment Authority and other local growth and economic stimulation efforts. With shows at seven venues, performers this year include Georgia acts New Madrid, Wrenn, Triathalon, The Head, Sea Ghost (pictured), Culture Culture, The Orange Constant, Free Lance Ruckus, McCall Kimball, Julie Eyerly, Hedonistas and many more, including some out-of-state bands.

Wristbands granting access to all of the venues over both nights are available for $10 advance (via Eventbrite: eventbrite.com/e/sounds-of-the-south-music-festival-tickets-23024399599) and $15 walk-up.
