Sonia Tetlow Releases Fourth Solo Album, Now

Sonia Tetlow has been a bass player for New Orleans roots-rock band Cowboy Mouth and banjo plucker for Atlanta-based country/bluegrass act Roxie Watson. She’s also fronted the Atlanta bands Herman Put Down the Gun and the more punk/alternative rock trio STB (Sonia Tetlow Band).

She’s just released her fourth solo album, the decisively titled Now. Tetlow’s skills as a singer-songwriter shine even as the tracks kick and jostle with their hard-hitting rock sound. Amy Ray of Indigo Girls guests on harmony vocals on two songs, “Hard Fought Year” and “Tripline.”
