Georgia-bred singer-songwriter Sonia Leigh, a native of tiny Molena in Pike County, spent much of 2017 touring throughout the UK, building up a strong fan-base there. So it’s no surprise that her latest album finds her collaborating with selected UK musicians and artists on a cross-section of her material.
Recorded live at Abbey Road Studios, Sonia Leigh and Friends Live in London: Studio 3 Sessions features fresh renditions of fan favorites like “My Name is Money” and the Zac Brown Band’s “Sweet Annie” (which she co-wrote), a generous chunk of songs from her latest studio album Mad Hatter and a rather surprising piano rendition of Claude Debussey’s “Clair de Lune.”
The album will be available on all digital platforms beginning June 15th. A limited number of physical copies will be offered through sonialeigh.com and Amazon.
