The sixth country and bluegrass music festival administered by Nashville-based bluegrass group Dailey & Vincent will take place Sept. 6-8 in a different venue this year: the 2,900-seat Anderson Music Hall of the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, located along the shores of Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee.
Performers at the Dailey & Vincent Landfest In the Mountains & On the Lake will include Lee Greenwood, the Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder (multi-instrumentalist Darrin Vincent’s former band), Russell Moore & IIIrd Time Out, Raven and Red, Mike Snider, The Booth Brothers, Sideline and The Harmans.
The site has plenty of spaces for camping as well as a lodge. There’s two playgrounds, tennis courts, baseball field, wailing trails, picnic tables and a boat ramp, so families will surely not be at a loss for things to do. For more information, including tickets, go to daileyvincentfest.com.
