Sevendust Aims to Come Back Rocking on Eleventh Album

Atlanta hard rock/metal band Sevendust are returning with their 11th studio album on October 2nd, titled Kill the Flaw. The self-produced album was recorded with engineer and mixer Mike Ferretti at Architekt Music in Butler, New Jersey, the same place their recorded last year’s acoustic detour, Time Travelers & Bonfires.

“We took some time off from the heavy side of Sevendust, and when it came time to record some new music, [we] put everything we had in to what became Kill the Flaw,” offers vocals Lajon Witherspoon. “We love this new music and we can’t wait to share it.”

Sevendust’s last fully plugged-in album, 2013’s Black Out the Sun, debuted on Billboard’s Top Hard Music Albums chart at number one, and made it to #18 on the Top 200 albums chart.

The band, which formed in 1996, will be supporting Godsmack on that group’s upcoming fall tour, which begins Sept. 23rd in Detroit.
