The Savannah Stopover Music Festival has announced its final confirmed for next month’s event, adding over 50 additional artists to those previously announced. Among the new additions are Portland-based country rock band Blitzen Trapper, experimental New York art-pop sister act Prince Rama and new Sub Pop signees The Gotobeds out of Pittsburgh.
That’s not even mentioning the numerous Georgia-based acts playing the indie-centric music festival. From Savannah alone, Triathalon (pictured above), Jeff Zagers, Coeds, Sundial Kings, Twisty Cats, Breakers, Curbdogs, Sunglow, Culture Vulture, Miquel Moure and Street Clothes will participate, while T. Hardy Morris, Sydney Eloise & the Palms, Muuy Biien, Chief Scout, New Madrid, Family and Friends, Grand Vapids and Tedo Stone are among those motoring in from other points in Georgia.
The Savannah Stopover Music Festival is held every year in early-mid March, in advance of Austin’s annual South by Southwest. This year’s Stopover, the sixth annual, takes place March 10th through 12th in downtown Savannah’s beautiful historic district. For more info, visit savannahstopover.com.
