Russ Plays Sold Out Hometown Show During Tour for First Album

Roswell-based rapper Russ Vitale, known professionally simply as Russ, performed for a hometown sellout crowd at the Tabernacle in Atlanta on June 6th.

The 24-year-old is in the midst of a tour supporting his debut album, There’s Really a Wolf, which Columbia Records released digitally on May 5th in conjunction with Russ’s own Diemon Records imprint. The album debuted at number seven on Billboard’s top 200 albums chart, and number four on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, with nearly 50,000 copies sold in the first week.

Russ is known for being an all-inclusive artist, with all of his songs written, performed, produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by him alone. His tour lasts through August 9th, with stops at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza as well as numerous headlining dates.
