Run the Jewels Play Letterman, Work on Third Album

Since 2012, Atlanta’s Killer Mike has been establishing himself as an unstoppable force in the world of hip-hop. The artist, who recorded with Outkast and the Dungeon Family, has been steadily working on a number of projects. Following the success of his 2012 solo album R.A.P. Music, Mike joined with his producer, El-P, to form Run the Jewels. The duo, which recently performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, has skyrocketed to success over the past two years, releasing two free albums of their highly political music. Mike’s been steadily producing critically acclaimed work while still running his Atlanta barbershop, Graffiti’s SWAG, which he started with his wife in 2011.

The group recently announced that they will begin work on their third album, Run the Jewels 3, in January. Until then, catch their performance on Letterman from November.
