Although Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo died in a car accident last September, he obviously left behind a stash of songs, because a posthumous album of previously unheard material, titled R.I.C.O., is being released on March 24th.
The 14-song album features an assortment of guests, including fellow Atlantans T.I., Ralo, Alexis Branch and Yung Ralph; Atlanta native (now Californian) O.T. Genasis; Shawty’s D4L mate Stuntman; Louisiana’s Boosie Badazz; Lyfe Jennings; and the late rapper’s children KeKe and Quando.
R.I.C.O. will be released through 300 Entertainment, two days after what would have been Shawty Lo’s 41st birthday.
