Atlanta-based post-punk-inspired quintet Warehouse will have their second album, super low, released by Bayonet Records on September 30th. The album’s title comes from the name of a food mart situated across the street from where some of the work on the songs took place.
The group – Elaine Edenfield (vocals), Ben Jackson (guitar), Alex Bailey (guitar), Josh Hughes (bass) and Doug Bliechner (drums), most of whom can be readily found working day jobs in several Atlanta eateries – released a debut album called Tesseract in 2014. This summer, they opened a series of shows for Frankie Cosmos, the stage name of singer/songwriter Greta Kline. Kline in turn directed the band’s video for their jittery new song, “Simultaneous Contrasts,” viewable here:
