Perpetual Groove to End Hiatus with Hometown Show

Athens-based jam-rockers Perpetual Groove will end their two-year hiatus with a hometown show at the Georgia Theatre on May 29th. It’s their first show since an April 2013 gig at the same venue.

During their break, all of the members except for singer-songwriter Brock Butler continued performing and recording as Ghost Owl, while Butler played a few solo shows.

The group, which formed in Savannah in the late ‘90s, has thus far only announced headlining slots at the Resonance Music Festival in Pataskala, Ohio on Sept. 25th and 26th as additional live shows this year, though others are expected.
