Parker Gispert Co-Writes and Records Song with Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper’s latest album, Paranormal, features a song co-written with Parker Gispert of the Athens-born band The Whigs.

Gispert also sings background vocals and plays electric guitar on the track, titled “Private Public Background.” Larry Mullen of U2 plays drums on the song, as well as on most of the album. Album producer Bob Ezrin is also listed as a co-writer on the song.

Gispert, who currently lives in the Nashville area, has been largely focusing on solo shows for the past year, seemingly spending the bulk of his time on the road.
