Atlanta rap trio Migos have announced a January 27th release date for their latest album, C U L T U R E. It should prove to be a hot seller, as the group is enjoying its biggest success to date with the current single, “Bad and Boujee.”
Featuring Atlanta-via-Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert, the track has amassed nearly 80 million YouTube views, and is number one on the Spotify US Top 50 (in the Top 15 globally), as well as number one on iTunes and Apple Music. It’s the Greatest Gainer on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart and Rap Airplay chart, and marks the first time Migos have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Additionally, “Bad and Boujee” has had 116,500 downloads, and was the #4 selling digital track in North America the last week of 2017.
“We knew we had something when our YouTube channel exploded,” the trio commented about this recent worldwide phenomenon. “It signaled to radio and the streaming services that Migos is back with a heater.”
