Nuçi’s Space Giving Away Year’s Entry to Georgia Clubs, Festivals

Are you a die-hard music fan? Chances are, if you regularly keep up with the Georgia music news on this site, you are. And do you go see a lot of live music (or would if you had a bigger budget?) Well, the folks over at Nuçi’s Space, the multi-purpose musicians resource center in Athens, is giving one lucky winner complimentary access for two at over two dozen of the best venues in Atlanta, Athens and throughout Georgia for the entire calendar year of 2017.

It’s a raffle benefiting Nuçi’s Space and the services it provides to local musicians, which primarily include suicide prevention treatment and counseling. The $5 tickets can be purchased at nuci.org/nuci1pass/, and are available through Dec. 15th. As a further incentive, an anonymous donor has offered to make a $10,000 donation to Nuçi’s Space if they can sell 2,000 tickets for the raffle. As of Dec. 4th they’d sold around 1,200.

Participating venues include Variety Playhouse, Georgia Theatre, Terminal West, Smith’s Olde Bar, Red Clay Music Foundry, the 40 Watt Club, the Cox Capitol Theatre, The Foundry, the Buckhead Theatre, Eddie’s Attic, Caledonia Lounge and many more, plus festivals including the Sweetwater 420 Fest, Slingshot and the North Georgia Folk Festival. Most venues are offering guest list privileges for a full year for the winner and a guest, while Chastain Park Amphitheatre is donating a table for six to one of their 2017 shows, and the Fox Theatre is chipping in a pair of tickets to see Norah Jones on March 11th. All in all, this is an incredible prize for a music lover. Be sure to enter by Dec. 15th!
