Georgia country stars Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt (pictured) and Thomas Rhett (the latter with rock band Fall Out Boy) have all been announced as performers for the 49th Annual CMA Awards, which will take place at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, Nov. 4th in Nashville, and broadcast live on ABC.
Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Maddie & Tae, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini and collaborations between Keith Urban and John Mellencamp, and Eric Church and Hank Williams Jr., have also been announced, with more expected to be added. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, the hosts of the show for the eighth consecutive year, are also slated to perform.
Bryan, who won the CMA Entertainer of the Year award last year, is nominated in that category again, as well as for Male Vocalist of the Year. Aldean is up for Album of the Year (for Old Boots, New Dirt), while Rhett and Hunt are both in the running for New Artist of the Year, with Hunt also up for Single of the Year and Song of the Year (for “Take Your Time”).
Other Georgia nominees include Florida Georgia Line (Vocal Duo of the Year), Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band (both for Vocal Group of the Year).
