Multi-platinum producer Mike WILL Made-It – one of the shapers of Beyonce’s Grammy-nominated album Lemonade – is staging Mike WILL’s Wish Week in Atlanta December 19th through 28th. The series of event throughout Atlanta will benefit young people, seniors and their families.
An outgrowth of Will’s Making Wishes Matter Foundation – a nonprofit organization that strives to make an impact in Atlanta by empowering young people to discover their talents, assisting less fortunate families and granting the wishes of individuals within the community – highlights of Wish Week include Wish Fest on Tuesday, Dec. 20th at the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games in Marietta, where foster and homeless youth will gather with Will and hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd for an evening of food, games and gifts; a Mother’s Wish single mom’s dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Buckhead on Wednesday, Dec. 21st, with Mike WILL and his mother Shirley Williams; and the Beats and Basketball Suite Night on Wednesday, Dec. 28th at the Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks game, where 20 boys from the Boys2Men Home & Sanctuary for Youth will join Mike Will on the court for the National Anthem. Each boy will receive a jersey and spend the night in a game suite at Philips Arena during the game.
