Mastodon to Reissue Its Reprise Records Catalog on Colored Vinyl

Mastodon will be reissuing all of their Reprise Records titles in special colored vinyl editions throughout the rest of this year, beginning with 2006’s Blood Mountain, coming in solid yellow/transparent green on March 3rd. This will be followed by 2009’s Crack the Skye (baby blue vinyl, June 2nd), 2011’s The Hunter (red & white, August 4th) and their current album, Once More ‘Round the Sun (solid white/transparent green, Oct. 5th). A vinyl box-set of these titles, limited to only 500 copies, will then be released on Dec. 8th.

Additionally, Mastodon will release a limited-edition 12” vinyl picture disc for their non-album song “Atlanta,” previously only available digitally as part of the Adult Swim Singles Series, on Record Store Day, April 18th. The B-side will be an otherwise unreleased instrumental version of the song.

Mastodon will embark on another cross-country tour – a five-week series of concerts with Maryland-based co-headliners Clutch – beginning April 16th in St. Paul, Minnesota.
