Manchester Orchestra Offers Hope With Newly Reimagined Songs

Manchester Orchestra have released an intimate reworking of their 2014 album COPE, using Fender Rhodes, piano, vocal re-arrangements and strings to transform the loud, heavy songs of that record into quieter versions that shine new light on the melodies and lyrical content of the material.

Titled HOPE, the album is available digitally now via iTunes and Google Play, and will be released physically on CD and vinyl on November 18th. Fans purchasing tickets to the Atlanta band’s upcoming, similarly stripped-down fall tour will receive a free download of the digital version. Although it is as yet not included on the itinerary, the band’s hometown fans are hoping the tour will include their (thus far) annual Thanksgiving shows known as “The Stuffing,” a multi-night/multi-band mini-festival held at Atlanta’s Center Stage Theatre complex.
