Bragg Jam, Macon’s the annual concert crawl music festival, has announced its full lineup for 2016. Among this year’s acts are Shakey Graves, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, Josh Thompson, Dylan LeBlanc and Frankie Cosmos, as well as loads of Georgia-based music-makers including Larkin Poe, Tedo Stone, Wrenn, Donna Hopkins, Tyler Hammond, Cicada Rhythm, the Floco Torres Big Band and Robert Lee Coleman & the Night Owls.
In all, more than 80 bands and solo performers will be participating in this year’s event, happening on Saturday, July 30th. The annual festival generally features an eclectic mix of rock, folk and Americana acts, mostly from the Southeast – with a generous selection of homegrown Georgia musicians.
Founded in 1999 as an impromptu jam session, Bragg Jam has evolved and grown into a heavily attended citywide music and arts festival, with proceeds donated to local charities in memory of Brax and Tate Bragg, the late, local musicians and brothers who inspired the event’s inception.
