Lera Lynn will unveil her long-awaited second album, The Avenues, on Sept. 9th, and she’s already gotten a Twitter endorsement from Sheryl Crow, who told her followers that she’s excited for the release of Lynn’s album and “I will be reminding you to go get it!”

The Avenues was produced by Joshua Grange, who currently plays guitar in Crow’s band, and mixed at Crow’s private studio in Nashville.

A former member of Athens band Birds & Wire, Lynn specializes in dusky, sultry country-tinged fare lifted heavenward with pedal steel atmospherics and her gorgeous, haunting voice. A three-time featured performer on Prairie Home Companion, Lynn, who recently moved to Nashville, will be touring the US throughout September and October.
