Georgia-based sister act Larkin Poe, the professional name used by singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Rebecca and Megan Lovell, will release a revamped version of their debut album Kin on April 29th.
Reskinned features five new songs, written and recorded just a few months ago, as well as seven selections from Kin, including three that are freshly remastered. The new songs lean more toward heavier sounds than their older material, according to the duo. “We’re pumped to unleash our inner roots rock and rollers,” notes Rebecca.
They continue to regularly tour with fan Elvis Costello, both as opening act and backing musicians, but will stop long enough for a headlining hometown show at Atlanta’s Terminal West on May 5th.
