With first-week sales topping 275,000 copies, Jason Aldean’s sixth studio album Old Boots, New Dirt debuted atop Billboard magazine’s all-genre Top 200 chart. The Macon native also broke the record for both first-day and first-week streams by a Country artist on Spotify with the new album.

In the midst of his current “Burn It Down” tour of stadiums, amphitheaters and arenas, Aldean played his ninth annual “Concert for the Cure” in Detroit on Saturday night, Oct. 11th, benefitting the Susan G. Komen breast cancer research foundation. The concert, which also featured Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr, raised over $660,000 for the Detroit chapter of the nonprofit organization.
