Gucci Mane has announced his first scheduled live performance since his early release from prison last month, a major homecoming concert at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Tickets for the July 22nd show will be released to the general public on Friday, June 24th at 10 a.m. ET (fan pre-sales begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 23rd.) An array of special guests are also expected to participate in the celebratory concert.
So far, Gucci has released two digital tracks since being released: “First Day Out Tha Feds,” produced by frequent collaborator Mike WiLL Made It, and “Back on the Road,” featuring Drake. The former generated close to one million SoundCloud plays within 12 hours of its May 27th release. Gucci, along with fellow Atlanta rappers 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti and Quavo, also appears on Kanye West’s “Champions,” the first single from West’s forthcoming GOOD Music compilation album Cruel Winter.
Currently, Gucci Mane is in the studio with hip-hop producer Zaytoven working on further new material. He surprised Atlanta fans on June 17th with a pop-up set at Atlanta nightclub Mansion Elan.
