Georgia Music Partners have embarked on a two-month campaign to raise funds for their music industry advocacy work with government, the private sector and academic institutions. The group hopes to raise $100,000 by the campaign’s conclusion on Dec. 30th.
GMP launched the campaign at Atlanta’s Criminal Records on Oct. 28th, where they unveiled an exclusive work of art celebrating the breadth of Georgia music by ubiquitous Atlanta-based visual artist R. Land. Titled Turn Up the Volume, the artwork will be on display at Criminal through December, at which point it will be presented to the top donor for the fundraiser.
Georgia music fans can donate to the GMP fundraising campaign in two ways. Donors of $25-$500 are eligible to win prizes including Turn Up the Volume magnets, coffee mugs and more. Donors of $1000 or more are qualified for various benefits including autographed, limited edition Turn Up the Volume watercolor prints.
