With its origins in 2004 as the Sweetwater Festival, Milledgeville’s Deep Roots Festival returns to that central Georgia town with a full day of food, music and events on Saturday, Oct. 24th.
Along with a barbeque cook-off, car show, art vendors and kids area, the streets of downtown Milledgeville will be rocked by the likes of Detroit duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Hartford group Bronze Radio Return, Olympia, Washington singer/songwriter Ethan Tucker, Minnesota quartet Hippo Campus, Austin-based brother-sister act Charlie Belle, Atlanta’s Stokeswood and Milledgeville’s own Moonshine Still.
The Deep Roots Festival begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until midnight. Advance tickets are available now, and tickets will also be available at the gates on festival day. For more information, check http://www.deeprootsfestival.com.
