Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival Offers Full Day of Free Music

The fourth annual Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival will take place on Saturday, October 29th in the center of historic downtown Cartersville, just off Interstate 75 northwest of metro Atlanta.

Two stages will feature groups and solo performers all day long, with Smokey’s Farmland Band (pictured) topping the lineup on the Depot Stage, preceded by fellow Georgia acts City Hotel, Cherokee Cut Ups, Jayron Weaver, Old Mill Road Band and Luther’s Mountain Band. The Wiseman Brothers, Julie Gribble, Clydes, Crossties Band, Max & Maggie, McKee, Goodwin & Haigler and Fish & Picks will entertain from the Firehouse Stage.

Admission and parking are free, and kids are welcome, with music beginning at 11:30 a.m. and lasting until 7:30 p.m. For directions and more information, visit cartersvillebluegrass.com.
