Caroline Aiken, Squalls Highlight 31st North Georgia Folk Festival

Caroline Aiken (pictured), Cicada Rhythm, The Squalls, The Hobohemians, The Folk Society Band, Bonnie Liggins & Mary Lomax and The Chuck Nation Band are all scheduled to perform at the 31st annual North Georgia Folk Festival, taking place Saturday, October 10th at Sandy Creek Park in Athens.

In addition to the aforementioned artists performing on the main stage, there will be a “fire circle” area with informal sets from Adam Klein, Eliot Bronson, Claire Campbell and Cortez Garza. Storyteller Pat Shields will entertain the young’uns in a kids activity area.

Gates open at 10:30 a.m. and music will last until 9 p.m. Adult admission is $15, student tickets are $8 and children under 12 are admitted free.
