The lineup for this year’s Candler Park Music + Food Festival have been announced, with Southern jam rockers Gov’t Mule and funk band Lettuce named as headliners for the two-day event, Friday June 1st and Saturday June 2nd. Others on the bill include Houndmouth, Keller Williams’ new Tom Petty-inspired project PettyGrass (featuring eclectic bluegrass quintet The Hillbenders), SUSTO, Twiddle, Montreal party band Busty and the Bass, and Georgia acts Larkin Poe and Webster.
Additionally, Athens-based sponsor Terrapin Beer Co. will be staging a Battle of the Bands on Friday, May 11th, where local groups will compete to perform during the opening slot on Friday, June 1st. More details can be found at terrapinbeer.com.
Gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 1st and noon on Saturday, June 2nd. Weekend ticket prices are $25 for General Admission and $60 for VIP through April 15th, after which they will increase. Advance tickets are on sale now at candlerparkmusicfestival.com.
