Black Crowes’ First Four Albums Being Reissued on Vinyl

The currently kaput Black Crowes will have their first four albums reissued on 180-gram vinyl on December 4th.

The group’s 1990 debut, Shake Your Money Maker, will be issued as a single-album set, while the following three – The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, Amorica and Three Snakes and One Charm, will be double-LP sets. Three Snakes is the only one to include bonus tracks not on the original album – “Just Say You’re Sorry” and a cover of Bob Marley’s “Pimper’s Paradise.”

The Atlanta-born band announced its breakup early this year, with the principle members all working separately now on different projects. Vocalist Chris Robinson leads the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, his brother Rich Robinson has been establishing himself as a solo artist and founding drummer Steve Gorman plays with the group Trigger Hippy along with vocalist Joan Osborne.
