Atlanta photographer Perry Julien – recognized for his concert photography as well as other subjects – has four of his photos featured in the just-released FADER FORT: Setting the Stage hardcover book.
The 252-page book commemorates over 15 years of the FADER FORT, a now well-established pop-up mini-festival taking place in the midst of Austin’s South by Southwest Music & Media Conference every March. Organized and staged by The FADER magazine, began as a hotel party back in 2012, quickly expanding over the next couple of years into one of the biggest non-official events during SXSW. To date, over 900 acts have graced the FADER FORT stage.
Complete with a forward by Sean Combs and Damon Albarn (Blur), the book is a mix of onstage performance photos, behind-the-scenes moments, candids and portraits from 23 different acclaimed photographers.
