Electronic pop/R&B singer-songwriter Demo Taped (Adam Alexander) will have his new EP, Momentary, released on February 23rd via 300 Entertainment.
The 19-year-old Atlanta native has already released two acclaimed singles from Momentary. The first, “Insecure,” has a gospel flavor, which is appropriate since it was recorded in Antioch Baptist Church North, the church that his grandfather has pastored since 1969. Adam’s father plays bass on the track, which also features other musicians that play at the church.
The second, “Pack of Gum,” was inspired by his struggles with anxiety. “It’s about not wanting to be forgotten by someone you love,” Alexander explains. “It’s called ‘Pack of Gum’ because when my anxiety was at its peak, it affected me physically. Sometimes I would get sic and so I resorted to carrying around a pack of gum at all times.”
