Atlanta rock trio The Head will release their next album, Space, on August 4th. The young trio – brothers Mike (bass, vocals) and Jack (drums) Shaw and guitarist Jacob Morrell – have been playing music together since high school, and have already notched up numerous albums, singles and EPs. In that time their sound has evolved from the fresh-faced, upbeat power-pop of a few years ago, absorbing a wider range of largely ‘80s and ‘90s alternative and college-rock influences.
The new LP was recorded, produced and mixed by Tanner Hendon and Wyatt Oates at Madison Studios in Atlanta, with additional engineering by Greg Giuffre. The band will be supporting their new baby with a 55-city tour throughout the entire US from August into October, then over to the UK in November.
