Armuchee Bluegrass Festival Showcases Georgia Pickers, Fiddlers

The Armuchee Bluegrass Festival returns to that tiny Floyd County town north of Rome in northwest Georgia on Memorial Day weekend, May 26th through 27th.

Lots of small-name acts from towns across Georgia will converging to pick ‘n’ play at the fest, including Jasper’s Sharp Mountain Bluegrass Band, Austell’s Night Travelers, the Mars Hill Porch Pickers, Ellenwood’s Honey Creek Boys, Atlanta’s Smoke Rise, and the East Dixie Boys out of Dallas, among many others.

There’ll also be a “jam-a-long” and cookout the evening of Thursday, May 25th. On-site camping will be available all weekend. For more information, go to facebook.com/armucheebluegrassfest
