All-Star Georgia Concert To Benefit Chastain Park

Chastain Concert

To mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the volunteer, non-profit group committed to the stewardship of Chastain Park’s natural and developed resources, the Chastain Park Conservancy is making its fall fundraiser a one-of-a-kind event featuring an array of Georgia music veterans.

Set for Thursday, Oct. 2nd from 7-11 p.m. at the 268-acre Atlanta park’s 6,900-capacity amphitheater, scheduled performers for “A Night Unplugged” include Fred Schneider of the B-52’s; Schneider’s B’s bandmate Cindy Wilson performing with her current group Ola Moon; Collective Soul’s Ed Roland with his down-home group the Sweet Tea Project; Drivin’ n’ Cryin’; and long-running Atlanta roots/blues favorites Mudcat backed up by the Atlanta Horns.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the CPC. Tickets and more information can be found at www.chastainparkconservancy.org/events/a-night-unplugged.
