Aldean, Bryan, Florida Georgia Line Among CMA Award Nominees

Georgia continues to dominate the country music awards shows. Jason Aldean (pictured), Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line are all in the running for the big Entertainer of the Year award at this year’s 50th anniversary Academy of Country Music Awards, to be held in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 15th.

Aldean and Bryan as also up for Male Vocalist of the Year, while Florida Georgia Line are nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year, the latter for their collaboration with Luke Bryan, “This is How We Roll”; Florida Georgia Line’s song with Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli (Eli Young Band) under the banner The Cadillac Three, “The South,” is also nominated in that category. Meanwhile, the Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum are in consideration for Vocal Group of the Year.

Aldean’s Old Boots, New Dirt is nominated for Album of the Year, Bryan’s “Drink a Beer” is up for Song of the Year, and, finally, Florida Georgia Line’s “Dirt” is in the running for Single of the Year.
