The 43rd Annual New Year’s Bluegrass Festival returns to Georgia’s Jekyll Island on Thurs. Jan 3 thru Sat. Jan. 5, 2019. Bluegrass and roots music fans gather for three full days of bluegrass artists, fellowship and fun in an alcohol-free concert environment on Jekyll. Tickets range from reserved day passes at $45 and general admission day passes at $40, or reserved three-day passes for $95 and general admission for $90.
The 2019 artist lineup includes Daily & Vincent, Jeff Parker and Co., Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Penny Creek Band, The Gibson Brothers, The Malpass Brothers, The Little Roy & Lizzy Show, Nothin’ Fancy, Monroe Crossing, The Inspirations, The US Navy Band Country Current, Kenny & Amanda Smith, Appalachian Express, The Farm Hands, Volume Five, Penny Creek Band, The Primitive Quartet, Dale Ann Bradley and Danny Paisley & the Southern Grass. Sherry Boyd emcees the festival, Blue Ridge Sound handles production and Dahlonega’s own veteran company, Adams Bluegrass LLC, produces the annual gathering.
